You receive a personalized certificate and a permanent entry in the Hall of Fame. Nothing else is implied, promised, or forthcoming.

It gets pressed.

That is all it does. There is no hidden feature, no secret unlock, no deeper meaning. You press it, confetti happens, you get your certificate. The end.

If you were expecting something more, we respect that. The button does not share your expectations.

Because someone built it and someone else paid to press it. That is essentially the entire origin story of capitalism.

The Button exists as a celebration of pure, consequence-free expenditure. In a world of complicated financial products, subscription traps, and hidden fees, The Button is refreshingly honest. You pay. You press. Done.

The Button is completely serious about being completely absurd. We take the joke very seriously.

Your payment is real. Your certificate is real. Your Hall of Fame entry is real. The button press is real. The inherent comedy of all of the above is also real.

Standard ($99): You pressed The Button. Certificate issued. Hall of Fame entry added. Dignity optional.

Gold ($499): You pressed The Gold Button. Gold-tier certificate. Priority placement at the top of the Hall of Fame. You are better than Standard pressers and everyone knows it.

Diamond ($999): You pressed The Diamond Button. The most prestigious certificate we issue. You are the reason this site exists.

It costs exactly as much as it costs. The price is the point.

Anyone can press a free button. Not everyone presses a $999 button. That distinction is, in fact, the entire product.

Yes. Many people do. Each press earns a new certificate and increments your Hall of Fame press count.

The leaderboard shows total presses and total spent. Some people press it many times. We do not judge. We do count.

Yes. You can press Standard today, Gold tomorrow, Diamond next week. Each press is independent. Each certificate is unique. Your Hall of Fame entry reflects your highest tier.

Immediately after payment you receive:

1. A personalized digital certificate, numbered with your name and tier, accessible at a permanent URL you can share with anyone.

2. A permanent entry in the Hall of Fame with your name, tier, press count, and total spent.

3. A confirmation email with a link to your certificate.

That is the complete product. Nothing further will arrive. No physical items are shipped.

Yes. Your certificate has a permanent URL you can share directly. There is also a Share button that generates a 1080×1080 image you can post anywhere, save to your camera roll, or send to whoever needs convincing.

We encourage public display. The button was pressed. The world should know.

Whatever name you enter at checkout. This can be your real name, a nickname, a title, or anything else you'd like immortalized in the official record.

Popular choices include full names, first names only, professional titles, and at least one person who entered "Supreme Leader." We respect the commitment.

Check your spam folder first. Confirmation emails occasionally end up there.

Your certificate is also accessible directly from the success page; that link stays valid permanently. If you closed it before saving the link, email us at support@thebutton.club with your order number and we will resend it.

The Hall of Fame is a public leaderboard of everyone who has ever pressed The Button, ranked by total presses and total amount spent.

It is updated in real time. Every press anywhere in the world is reflected immediately. The counter is live. The competition is real.

Yes. Enter "Anonymous" as your name at checkout. Your press still counts toward the total and appears on the leaderboard as "Anonymous." Your identity remains your own business.

You may also request anonymization after the fact by emailing support@thebutton.club.

Yes. Email support@thebutton.club and we will anonymize your entry within 30 days. Your press count remains, it just becomes anonymous.

Removal from the Hall of Fame does not constitute a refund. You pressed the button. That is permanent.

All major credit and debit cards via Stripe: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and others depending on your region. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported where available.

We do not accept cryptocurrency, wire transfers, cash, or personal checks. We are running a button business, not a hedge fund.

No. All sales are final.

You were shown exactly what you were purchasing before you paid. You ticked a checkbox confirming you understood. You pressed the button. The product was delivered.

The one exception: If your press was not recorded due to a verified technical error and cannot be resolved within 48 hours, you are entitled to a full refund. Email support@thebutton.club with your order number.

You can attempt to. We would ask you not to, for the following reason:

When you purchased, you agreed to our Terms & Conditions, checked a consent box, and received the product as described. We have a timestamp of your consent, your IP address, and proof of delivery. Banks typically side with merchants in these circumstances.

More practically: disputing a charge over a button press requires explaining to your bank that you voluntarily paid to press a button and would like the money back. We trust your judgment about whether that conversation is worth having.

Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant (the highest level of payment security certification). We never see, store, or touch your card details.

The only financial risk involved in this transaction is the deliberate one of paying to press a button.

Yes. Completely.

The Button is a novelty entertainment product. The product is clearly described before purchase. No false promises are made. No deception occurs. Buyers consent knowingly.

Selling novelty products is legal in every jurisdiction we operate in. People have been selling pet rocks, "adopt a star" certificates, and similar products for decades. We are simply the button chapter of that tradition.

Your name, email address, IP address, purchase timestamp, and consent timestamp. That is all.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with anyone except Stripe (payment processing) and our database host.

Normally yes. EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital purchases. However, by completing your purchase you explicitly requested immediate delivery of the digital product (your certificate and Hall of Fame entry) and thereby waived this right, as permitted under EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m).

This waiver was disclosed to you before purchase via the consent checkbox. You agreed to it. It is legally valid.
